How old is that info ?
The lad should do a few years of bumps and scrapes first, then get a proper heads up. Idiot.
...then her boyfriend jumped out of the wardrobe dressed as Batman !
went to the annual oricale down at poole and the oc SB was on about givin the LCs attached to SB half sf pay as they need to pass some sort of advanced LC's course or something, thats all i can say, i guess there jobs the usual driving the black ribs up to boats for MI ops and theres always the MIRC and LRIC's which need LCs to drive for different ops up rivers and what not, seems like a gucci job but as far as i know theres some sort of 'test' to get in to that troop.

Any info will be great, thanks.
Wato.
I was Rib team back a few years ago, as an LC it is some of the hardest Rib work in the world. The SF lads will not accept that the weather is bad, the sea conditions are hurricane, the operation very dangerous you will go. There was times i thought i pray would do well.
I was present when we lost a few guys through training only, the work is dangerous and you move on.
Once you have done this draft you never want to do anything else.
