First of all welcome back I've missed your avatar!!.
Look at things this way,at least you tried and got in which is an achievment in itself, better than spending years thinking what if?.
Service life isnt for everybody and you made your decision before you had commited to much of your life to it,glad to hear that you have moved on to other things and I hope you are successful at this.
Don't be a stranger on here your input will be of value to some of the wannabees.
Take it easy
SH
PS I want to see the rest of that avatar!

Good to see you back, Gary, and I'm glad that you've got yourself on a path that seems right for you.
I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and if you hadn't gone through that experience you probably wouldn't be doing what's made you happy now.
Hope it all continues to go well for you!

I know it seems strange, but I always have a slight feeling/urge to give it another shot... someday...Scottish Thistle wrote:Good to see you back, Gary, and I'm glad that you've got yourself on a path that seems right for you.

Well, if you're talking about the Dutch military, it's probably the hair nets. Or is that the Swedes?Theres something about the military that is just very attractive.

I didn't say that to the cloggie SB team on the Fearless once, more like "if you want to pad into scran in arctic socks (no shoes) then dig out, I'm cool with that". They were four of the biggest blokes on earth and with all that cold oggin nearby.......
