RAF Here I Come :D

Post by chris_UK »

Hey Everyone!

I'm very pleased to tell you all that today, at Nottingham, I was offered a contract with the RAF, which I gladly signed!! : :D :D

I've got my train tickets, kit list...... I'm all ready to go on the 17th January 2007!

Proudest moment of my life to date and I though I'd share it all with you. I can now safely say I'm looking forward to a prospering career with such a good force!

Thanks to everyone who's helped me when I've had a query! & good luck to anybody who's applying or joining.......

Take Care All.....

Best Wishes,

Chris Birkin (Aerospace Systems Operator)

Hi All!

Thanks for your replies :) It means alot! Congrats to metalworldmike aswell  best of luck to you aswell, maybe I'll see you at Halton!! who knows lol

To rach7: It took me just under 11 months to get where I am! But I failed my medical because I was overweight so I had like a 4 month period in which I lost 3 & 1/2 stone! Then passed my medical and passed the rest of my selection process!! I guess it takes aslong as it takes to be perfectly honest..... it's a big thing.....

Keep posting everyone..... nice to hear from you all!!

Regards

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
