New guy here
Hi everyone, I'm C4 and I'm new to these forums.
If anyone can give me some names of people who can help out with some army questions, that would be great! I'm already head hunting for "Goldie"? I think he's linked to the RMP?
I'm also looking for anyone who knows about being an "Engineer Specialist".

Sorry BigStevie, if you look at my profile you'll know I'm not in the army. I'm a college student. But imagine if you got bored with a lesson one day, what would you do? Take out some C4! Plant it and run! LOLBigStevie wrote:Quote: "I like demolitions"
do you have any experience of them....if military experience, which army was it with?

Please forgive my mistake.
I'm afraid along with firearms, i take explosives very seriously...it's a character failing i guess, but if you check my profile, you might understand why.
Perhaps sometime I'll tell you my story about a search team from 175 Provost Company, RMP, and their rather laissez-faire attitude to ieds and their detection. It might help develop some more reasoned thinking on your part towards 'demolitions'.
Also seeing the results on human bodies of C4 or similar, after them having been planted under a vehicle, may account for my opinion.
Again, my apologies.

Anyway, back to what you said- Yeah those stories wouldn't be great but other stories about blowing stuff up would.
Also...I saw a pic of you in the "album" section. You were holding a big stick.
My message was obviously a bit too subtle...
You profess an 'interest' in 'demolitions'. I feel that at the minute, you view explosives as a source of fun and spectacle.
My intention was to give you inkling that they are anything but; as with firearms, explosives are a very serious business - if you cannot take this as a mantra now, then you are in for a very rude - and possibly terminal - awakening.
My 'stories' as you refer to them, are not entertainment - they are lessons, to be absorbed and understood in the finest detail. For at that time in my life, when comrades were being killed with almost clockwork regularity, understanding how someone had been killed by the explosives that you deem as such 'fun', could save your own life.
I do not view your adolescent glee toward 'demolitions' with anything other than complete distain. See what eight ounces of semtex on a mercury tilt or timer, attached to the inner guard or sill of a car, does to the human body. Go and find out. And if, after seeing the effects, you understand what i am talking about, then come back and talk to me.
But somehow i think i am wasting my time.
Goldie - do you remember them in '79?
