Toughguy Event

Any Paras or soon to be paras ever attempted the toughguy event that takes place in january every year in Wolverhampton. If so, how did you find it? I'll be doing it this year if i'm not in the paras by then so if anyone fancies joining me, drop me a pm. From what i've read on the website, it really is a killer

Never done it as it would break my nails but some of the lads from work have done it several times and your right it is a killer.
Mad as a hatter bloke runs it and the money ends up in a donkey sanctury!!!!
Never wanted to break the ice before i jumped into water before but i suppose most of the Royals on here do it for a bit of sport!!!

When I was younger every one was to busy working and there were none of these events around

They certainly do. I won't be able to compete in those though until i've finished basic as im hoping to start in Jan. Should be a good challenge once i have though, especially the AR World Championship in Scotland (even better if the Army will sponsor me)

Bucket loads of forces compete in these and some are evn good at it

Have recently been looking at the website, i wouldnt mind giving it a go. Will ask around the regt next week and see whos up for it.
