An introduction...

Post by Dan Glee Bits »

Evenin' all...

Not sure if this is the norm on this particular forum but thought I'd say hello. I'm Dan, 24 and my better half started her basic training at RAF Halton at the beginning of August. She's going in to the band, but unfortunately has injured herself quite badly so is on RDF at present.

Whilst surfing for info on a few things about basic training I came across this forum, so here I am. Looking to talk to people who may be in a similar situation...trying to be as supportive as possible whilst not actually having much contact with loved ones.

Hey Dan!

Just thought I'd say hello.

What your doing is definitely the norm on these forums, so no need to worry. :)

From what I've been reading of these forums the past few years, their are quite a few ladies who are in the same position as you, can't say I know any men, if that makes any difference.

Hope the better half gets well soon, good luck with the future.
