Parenting forum and more...

Post by willhearne »

I haven't had much call to use this site, a great resource, except to announce the death of my father a few years back. Crikey, how time flies.

Anyway, I have a number of sites that may be of interest to some members here. They are all very new and still a bit quiet but don't let that put you off.

Firstly, there is www.largefamilies.co.uk which is aimed primarily at those with more than three kids but we encourage participation by anyone with an interest in parenting. It might become a useful tool to stay at home mums (or dads for that matter) who can come together under one roof and discuss parenting issues etc.

Secondly, www.britishsciencefiction.co.uk is a site for fans of......I won't insult your intelligence by spelling it out.

Finally, if you are male and have a sense of humour, www.bringbackducking.com is the official campaign to reintroduce the ducking stool for nagging wifes, girlfriends and strumpets in general (oh and witches). A tongue in cheek site for guys to sound off.

I look forward to welcoming you soon.

PS. My next project might be to redevelop John Carey's Para site...

Anyway, I need opinions on how to accept my daughters plan to join a military school for girls. Isn't it too early for her?
