Sorry if this seems like "old" news now but I never saw it posted and I just can't get over how sick the footage of Daniel Pollen being murdered is. The poor guy is just hanging around with his mate and for no reason whatsoever they get attacked and then knifed resulting in a completley pointless loss of life.
Here's the story if you haven't heard about it which also contains a link to the cctv footage of it happening, watching the cctv footage is quite upsetting. Makes me want to find these tw@ts and stick a Bayonet in them - http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006240558,00.html

Like I've said in the past, always have a plan to kill anyone you meet. To add: keep your ears and eyes open, and grow another pair of eyes in the back of your head.

I don't live in a rough part of the world, but I do frequent some very remote places where you occasionally run across others "hunters". It only takes one nutter/dirtbag, or whatever to get the upper hand and it could mean big probs. Hence, I always take along my dog, a long gun, a back-up sidearm and a decent knife. Not to sound like Rambo or anything, but out in the bush it's just common sense to do so. Same reason I take my survival kit. If I was to take a fall and break something or get stuck, at least I'd have a method of self-adminiustering first aid, signalling, keeping warm, and defending myself. The backup gun is totally illegal in Canada. If I was caught with it I might be able to talk my way out of it by virtue of my army ID and a good bull story, but I could also lose my firearms license and get charged with a criminal offense. The bottom line is I'd rather be judged by 12 than carries by 6!
Those farking pukes who roll guys for shyts and goggles should be dealt with in like manner.

Damn shame what happened to those two guys, still I dont understand how can those group of thugs have such behaviour knowing that they are being filmed ? Cctv is still a rather new thing in my country but I thought it would make ''bad'' people think twice before doing something like that, at least try to hide their faces ?
