Passing-Out Nicknames

For the guys who have passed out of Raleigh, what was your classes slogan, and what were the best nicknames?

Slogan = S.H.I.T. Hot (due to one of our lads constantly saying it in his Yorks accent, and us lot picking it up off him)

Nicknames = PT A-Gain (one of the guys in our class failed his PT-A a few times...unfortunately, eventually leading to his discharge ) or maybe Brick-Shit-Bungalow (a guy who was 4ft fcuk all, but built like a madman)

I dont remember anyone from my class getting nicknames whilst in Raleigh, werent there long enough to remember real names let alone nicknames.

Ive been called either Doc or Taff for over 15 years now. When Im home and someone calls out my real name it takes me awhile to register its me they are talking to.

What I like is the sayings you pick up from time with units / on course/ or from characters you meet during lifes travels.

I bet we could all quote dozens of them

Military slang, wether it be RN/RM/Army/RAF always puzzles people, when I speak to old oppos in the presence of family or civvy mates they always stare blankly and then ask for a translation afterward!

One poor soul when I was in training had a name of Roger Soul, can just imaging what it sounded like on the Parade ground shouting out R.Soul then his number. I was known as Tab in the Army as they thought I looked rather like a certain film star. Well as nick manes go I could live with that one, and the name has stuck to me over the years and I am still known as this.

Ours was crap..
"Do 1 you slag, ill cut you first"

It was a phrase of one of our lads who had to leave us and go home for a month due to one of the ribs jumping up in the air and landing on him in the other rib, broke his leg.. good lad, shame it happened to him.

Doc, these weren't actually the nicknames each of us got called through Raleigh. At the end we got a t-shirt, with the names and nicknames of everyone in the class on the back, and our division/class + slogan on the front.

Ahh I see, well again Raleigh is abit too far back in the grey matter to remember or care.
Commando Logs had a saying when I was there. "SEAHORSES!!!" and as you said it you had to do a bicep pose with hands like a bird's head and pointed out.
If you ever saw the Logs motif you'd understand why.

One, the lads picked it, 18 lads and 2 girls..................like we were going to have a say lol

And Britain, that was our PO's name. Little short fella, ex-PTI, cracking guy.

Still at Raleigh working in the MT section I think but as a civvy.
