Welcome Anna. Yours is a noble calling!
Reminds me of when I and a mate were sent to help out on the field portion of basic trainig at the QARANC depot. We were invited to the passing out parade and the end course pi$$-up...which stretched long into the night! Lucky to get out alive we were (shudder).
On another occasion, we helped chuck nurses of tall buildings (with a rope attached of course) to raise money to save Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a "thank you", me and a couple of mates were given honourary memberships of the Royal Berks' Hospital nurses club...oh, happy day!
The things we do for England!

Koff you daft twonk, she`s seventeen ffs.
Best I take her under my wing, methinks
Heyup Anna and welcome aboard darling
Fear you`re making a terrible mistake though
You should be joining the Royal Navy
Unless of course, you look like Anne Widdecombe.
In which case, the Army`s the right choice
Bring your gear up to my cabin after stand easy, don`t say I said
