Hi all ive just popped over to the church for a twinkle, im away to start week seven on Monday. As you all said the troop is starting to come together more and its getting better. Yeh we have the infamous "Gunny" he is just there to fook everyone around, he cant take part in the training of our troop so he just does all the admin and farks us about all the time. Most nights in the grots are spent immitating the famous phrases "you know what, just start pushing", "Get strong", "get on the bar freakshow" and the best of all is when he says "you freaking knober" in his American accent, it has me in knots everytime. We have a few good PTI immitators aswell in our troop which just adds to the madness. Well just thought i would let you all know how im getting on and im sure i will pop over to the church again some time if im not having an admin disaster or if gunny hasnt got me cleaning his land rover . All in all already ive had some very hard but also some great times here, like this week we just started map reading and our corporals get us to do the rifle NSP check with our map rolls before we enter every building :D :D its little things like that which make the day better, so its safe to say im enjoying myslef here.

Hi all im back again, and almost finished week eight, there is gym pass out to look forward to next week, then hunters moon just before easter leave. The training team keeps saying there is too much of us so i think gym pass out and hunters moon will be their last chance to thin us out before easter leave . Whenever they mention easter leave they always finish what there saying with "thats if you dont die on hunters moon" so i guess they are going to give us the good news throughout that exercise. Anyway im doing alright, there is still some mincers in the troop, some guy obviously couldnt be bothered doing drill so he clearly faked going down on the drill square. He has been labelled as a bit of a loafer in the gym and he even admitted it . Also there was a few jack @**} when we were on wet and dry, like not releiving people on time but they have been sorted out. Wet and dry was an experience, we never done it in peters pool, we had to crawl through a massive mud puddle and roll around in it with our weapons fully submerged. fair enough being wet and it drys in over time, but when its cold mud it just stays cold. Kit musters the next morning where a nightmare things like twelve out of thirteen people in a section were getting put on the flank :D. I was flanked for honking everything, which i speant an hour trying to clean :drinking:

Good to see a positive attitude. I guess the training team will thin out the wastrels soon enough.
