For some reason it logged me on this time, ver strange.
Very annoying though and having to go back to internet explorer, dear me.
Jay what`s the reason for this? Is it a Norton/Firefox prob?

Flo, don`t use the net without a firewall in place.
There are many sexual metaphores I could use but let`s just say you need to protect yourself
Enjoy your wee jolly and get the phots on here, hen

Harry I have had that problem a couple of times and I eventually traced the problem down to my Norton Firewall. It had developed a mind of it's own and was blocking the sites that I most used. I tried switching it off and it was still blocking these sites so I had take the computer back to a check point before the problems happened, then down load the firewall and i was back in business.

firefox is a funny thing

whatever you do, have NO temptation to install the new internet explorer 7 browser to try it

it blocks certain scripts from running (such as login ones) even in firefox

if you havent installed Internet Explorer 7 nevermind about my post :D

Try the Opera Web browser.

Cracking good bit of kit so it is. Firefox just wasn't my cup of tea.

As to Norton; Had it, binned it. Now use AVG anti virus and Zone Alarm as my Firewall. Both are free.

Try this sight:

www.majorgeeks.com

A lot of useful downloads available. Some you can pay for, some are freeware.

I Use Xoftspy and Spybot for sorting out the nasties. First costs the second is free.
