 All you connoisseur's of fine food??,I am looking for the recipe or formula,procedure call it what you may,for that good old early morning or the day after breakfast 'kidneys on fried bread'yes I kid you not,or to give it the old Naval terminolgy Shi'ite on a raft.Its just my way of spanning the years,dashing through the drill shed in Eastney barracks making sure that no provost about! queueing in the main galley to be confronted by that delightfull dish 'Jenny Wren' grab it while its hot Royal,eat it and beat it, scran at its best after a bootneck run ashore.
I have asked the 'Chief' cook to participate in this culinary delight,but get the usual reply 'dont bring your bootneck Ideas into my I'M A SCAMMER SPAMMER!!!' ah well it will after be out mess tins flash up the hexamine cooker and retire to the bottom of the garden.
