Hi, Hope you don't mind an ex-matelot passing on a little news ...

Big Theatre are offering veterans of the '82 Conflict an opportunity to tell their stories, poems, songs or to exhibit their photos, drawings etc. to a public audience at a special event on June 14th 2002 @ the new Imperial War Museum North in Manchester.

Big Theatre would like to hear from individual veterans interested in being interviewed, supplying material or taking part in the event.

Big Theatre have been commissioned by the Commonwealth Games to produce "52 Degrees South", a show about the experiences of Falklands veterans, in July 2002.

Big Theatre artists include veterans Andrew Readman (HMS Antrim) and Darren Poyzer (HMSBroadsword).

For more info please visit our website: http://www.bigtheatre.org.uk
or email us: info@bigtheatre.org.uk

Thanks, Darren

Try getting in touch with Denzil Connicksec of SAMA 82 (South Atlantic Medal Association). Especially as it is the AGM in May and it can be passed on there and in a news letter.
Sad to say done have the web page for you.

Thanks Jim, brought a smile to my face indeed

We are hoping the play will form the basis of quite considerable amounts of shall we say, social gathering ... yeh, lots of that liquid stuff I'm sure, cheers

These guys need a lot more help with this project so please get in touch.
Dont be shy you just have to sit in front of a TV camera. Just pity the poor civvies who will have to watch it all....
I bet they have a bit of editing to do to keep it moderate and clean....
