Rock Ape. Go to the top of the Rock of Gib and visit the inhabitants. Furry brown thieving arse scratching useless bastard things, but people still throw them food and just about tolerate the mangy sods. Then there are the local monkeys who live there as well. Go on Dean, bite on that!
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

Forgive me if this has already come up, but I don't think Marines CAN enlist for SAS. SAS is Army, Marines are actually Navy, and the SBS recruit solely from Marine Commandoes. The SBS are still special forces, they aren't as high-profile as the SAS, but they do a fantastic job. And they are more team based.

SAS aren't just army. I think anyone from all 3 services can join.

Must have it mixed up, then. I know the SBS recruits only from the Marines, though.

I thought anyone from any regiment could apply For either SBS or SAS. :-?

The SAS, anyone can apply to join from any branch of the forces, all you need to do is pass all the tests. The SBS well I will leave it to the Marines to tell you about those.

Everything I've ever read about the SBS seems to say they recruit solely from Marine Commando units. These sources may be wrong, but I have read it from a lot of different sources.
