Canadians you've served with..

Post by BritCanuck »

I've done a search but have uncovered nothing (Moderating on another military site, I know repeat questions can be annoying)

Just wondering if there are any RM's out there who have served with a Canadian, either a Canadian serving in a Royal unit, or perhaps one you've had the pleasure (Nay....the priveledge :D ) of training with as a part of a joint exercise or the like.

I trained my son since he was born, now he is a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Does that count?

Aye - Andy.

Brit Canuck,
Excuse me, but the Canadian Forces are not armed anymore? What do they use?
Jackie Chan's karate?
Or perhaps the RM answer. " I can kill a man with one finger! - eventually"

Bit of Humor there, partially true though.
At one point it was the Canadian Armed Forces, now it is simply the Canadian Forces (apparently armed was "too agressive".) This happened to coincide with our being raped by the successive governments and left to rot, so there is some truth to it.

I remember a Canadian when I was at 41 in 77-78, mad on body building.
I am sure that I saw him on the box years later during Gladiators green lid but with an RAF cap badge.
Was a canny guy.
