Would it help?

Post by nel »

Would using an exercise ball and a medicine ball in circuit training help me make gains in both sit-ups and press ups. Are these pieces of equipment beneficial? Last week I carried out the following:

Monday –8.53 mile run and push and lift
Tuesday – Swimming (1 mile)
Wednesday – Run 5.35 miles easy(snow) Run 4 acceleration strides- 51 minutes- Swimming
Thursday – Push and lift and health suite
Friday – 26 minutes run and swimming one mile
Saturday – Rest Day
Sunday – Rest Day

This week I have the following to do:

Monday – Standard warm up. Run 45 minutes at 20 seconds per mile slower than 10K pace- Bodyweight session
Tuesday – General Swim- Body attack
Wednesday – Run 5 miles easy. Run 4 acceleration strides- General swim- circuit training
Thursday – Rest Day- 3 max sets of press-ups and sit-ups
Friday – Run 5 miles easy. Run 4 acceleration strides- General swim- Bodyweight session
Saturday – Run 4 miles easy. Run 4 acceleration strides-Body attack
Sunday – Rest Day

I intend to incorporate them in monday, thursday and friday. Also im just starting the body attack classes next week so just wanted to no if anyone has done them before? Anyway just like to no if anyone thinks it will benefit me to use the above mentioned pieces of equipment.

Thank You.
