Life after the Army?

Post by robbiedont »

Was just wanting to hear peoples experiences of finding work after time in the Army, particularly after an infantry role.

What have you ended up doing?

The only drama i had was having to pay bills for the first time, in my green skin days all i had to pay from my own pocket was a mobile bill, whats all the water, gas and electric bill thingy all about then, that was the hardest part for me, oh and having a tiff with a Phamacy when the charged me my perscription charge for the first time, i honestly thought it was free and as i paid my taxes why should have i have to pay for the thrush cream which my good doctor had given me,(joke, just in case Mrs Goldie is peeping), how silly did i feel when the old lady next to me asked if i had been in prison for a long time!!

We had a similar question just about a month ago about careers after leaving the military. Here's the link:

In our efforts to help here, I think we`ve missed a little pearl 8)

When Tab "came out" he became a theatrical manager in the West End
That explains everything :o
