Hi Jay, i joined a couple of days ago and noticed there is nowhere for new members to announce their arrival.
Could we have a "New Arrival" forum for this purpose? :yeah:

It is on the list as a extra field for service history.
Others have suggested why not add the information to your signature. ;)

Oh Tab, don't go there, please. Some eons ago a daft old bastard called Rob Parry suggested the same thing. Some wiser and older folk nodded sagely, adjusted their undergarments, farted and said nowt. Other clever folk without a qualification in sociology or megaphysics, but plenty of 'neck' uttered wise words such as Bollocks and No. So Parry wandered off, and worried about the state of the English language and it's future, if it had one.
Have a search for 'Any Phool Kan spel'.
regards, Rob Parry, oops.

How about, on the initial registration page there is a section which asks which group you fall into i.e. Old and Bold, Wannabees, Guilt by Association (for the likes of Loz, Mags, Flo and me etc.), Spotters, etc etc??

Im sure we could think up some more!!!
Why? Because I can!

Spotters! Jules...........................that sounds like a............................well a feminine problem. ......I used to belong to an association of singing people who used to compete for, amongst other things, a trophy called " The Crawly Plaque" I often thought that it sounded like a dental condition! :fadein: Just a wee bit of usless info.....If these Newbies are going to call us Daft, Nuts, Unusual etc, lets prove it.... I always thought we were quite normal...................... :o
