Royal Logistic Corps

Post by WilliamPallett »

Hello,

I am looking to join the Royal Logistic Corps, I only have Physical Selection to complete.

I am looking at two trades especially within the RLC.

LOGISTIC SPECIALIST (SUPPLY) or POSTAL AND COURIER OPERATOR.

Does anyone know about these two trades...what are they like etc.

I understand for Postal & Courier Operator you may need certain grades in GCSEs? Where as Supply you need no qualifications...

Thanks for any help on this :) William

What happened to you wanting to join Musicians? And your medical conditions wont change no matter what job you go for, they all have the same requirements for medicals.
application form : done
BARB test : passed 82
Medical : Broke my wrist so 12 months wait before reapply.

I auditioned with the Corps of Army Music, and was unsuccessful as they have so many Trumpet players, and the Music standards are far higher.

So the RLC was my 2nd plan which I now want to persue. My medical reason was minor acne...which I am getting cleared up at the moment. Soon as it's cleared I can go back to ADSC.

Am led to believe Maths and English for Supplier.

Why only those two?? have you looked at Petroleum Operator??? Good promotion, small trade so a close knit team, and good prospects for a good job when you get out.

Looked at Petroleum Operator but doesn't really interest me, not as a job or something I'd want to do for many years.
