I used to be full on into weights (14.5st at 5:9) squats, deadlifting the works. It does seem to give you great acceleration on sprints coupled with the fact i've lost about 3 stone, pull-ups are no problem. Haven't noticed an amazing ability on pressups, despite the fact I was benching 120kg's plus...

Another thing i've noticed is the amount of recruits who seem eager to come out after the minimum 3 years, know of or heard of at least half a dozen in my area. There's an uplifting thought for ya!

Thanks all.

Interesting point about the elbows being locked on the pressups.
Makes it much harder.

Thanks for the reply!

Yeh I mean they run the circuits at my local leisure centre and they are killer. Hour long including warm-up/cool down, with constant shuttle runs. The intervals are 30 second working, 7 sec rest! I've also got a RM circuit training book which im following so it works out at around 4 times weekly(!)...

Circuit Training

Hello all.
Been reading without posting for the past two months or so and the info has been excellent.

Just wondering how many of use/ed sprint orientated circuits to pass PRMC, as well as conventional methods.
