hey man, glad to hear your pain is gettin better, u know any lads in fife that have already bin in the marines? the was a lad the floor below me that lived in fife, dropped out in week 8 though, really good lad and would like to speak to him again... any ideas? cheerz lad, Na sorry mate I dont know...

I do stretch before I cycle likes but I dont stretch when Im finished, maybe thats the problem. I'll start doing that lat stretch aswell Sarastro thanks for the advice mate.

Wel the sand I run on is usually firm... I try n keep close to the waves so my feet dont sink in as much although I ocasionally lose concentration and get soaked lol :lol: Once my ankles get better though I'm going to start a new fitness programme which I only run at the beach one a week. I have already applied and sat aptitude tests (AST) for the RAF Regiment but I have grew a pair of balls recently and decided to go for the marines. I used to be really unfit and thought that it would be impossible to get up to a marine standard of fitness, but after reading the forums on this site ...

Thanks a lot mate that programme looks really useful, I'll try it out tomorow and let you know if theres any improvement in a week or two.

I thought that running on sand was better than running on concrete because theres less of a solid impact but I may be wrong?

Awrite lads, I just passed the aptitude tests for the RAF Regiment :D unluckily I have to wait until I am 17 and a half before I can progress to the next stage (which is the interview and a medical then hopefully the PGAC).
