What is going on?

I like Christina Aguilera, but her version of 'The Star Spangled Banner' at Superbowl was dreadful (with or without the correct lyrics). Take a peek at the many versions on YouTube and most are not much better. You'd think that at premier events, like Superbowl, the organisers would ensure that the ...

Re: Making a career of the Royal Marines

There are few chaps still knocking about who joined around the same time as I did (1979).

Re: Artist?

Artist did have an accident and needed hospital treatment. His injuries weren't too serious and he published his full tale of woe on OAMAAM.

H_N,

Good Effort,
Some very well presented points and ideas. I don't have to agree with them all to appreciate the value of your post.

Also some very valid points from others, such as Archie.

Anyway I digress, the secret is moderation. Easy to say, not so easy to do. Occasionally I still get on it big time....

Sound Familiar?

I'm passing this on as I did not want to be the only Old Fart receiving it. Actually, it's not a bad thing to be called, as you will see. Old Farts are easy to spot at sporting events; during the playing of God Save the Queen, Old Farts remove their caps and stand at attention and sing without embar...
