Im like you Acuna_Read, 5ft 8, 63kg. I did apply for the Royal Marines at first, got up to my PJFT and i had a change of heart so ive decided to join the army. Weight is a real Issue in the Marines if your not comfortabely in the 60s i,e 64-65kg then my AFCO told me the person in charge of your PRMC...

Thanks that answered my questions and thanks for the warm welcome. Im not sure what to pick and could you tell me what the rifles is? I want to be in the thick of the action infantry, what in your opinion would be the best think to go for? The light infantry? Thanks again :)

Just a question, i was watching the army recruit DVD earlier and i was watching the Combat section and it says Air Assault. I can't work out if the Air Assault is what you can specialise in on phase 2 training or is it the parachute regiment? And another, the Light infantry is described as 'using ex...
