i did the basic static line at 3500ft in November, was good fun, going up again on the weekend for jump number 2 i think.
for some reason im more nervous this time than last time..

Yeh i was actually told about SRR today. i read somewhere they do part of the SAS Selection but not the jungle phase, i think, i cant really remember, some of it tho. It does look like interesting work.
Altho it did say 'physical tests somewhat similar to P Company' wouldn't like to comment either ...

ha yeh yeh i'm gonna be a 'hat' and i know even if i get chance to do the all arms i'll be an 'airborne hat' etc lol.

Lad, End of the day just think of what each regiment will do when you get out to afghan, that's how i see it. Joining up now i could be going out there ten times or more in my career so that's the only thing that's important to me, that and i dont wanna be based in germany :D haha.

When i was living in Leeds, training with 4para, if i ever went for a run in my Paras tee shirt i'd get shouts of 'murderer' or 'infidel' or other such nonsense from the local islamic youth. (even if they did sh!t themselves when i'd stop n stare)
