To be honest I'v been in recruiting since February so another three weeks wont hurt! One thing he did say was that because they want to get the battalions up to strength, there's a good chance that recruits fresh out of Catterick wont do their wings course at Brize until after they return from Afghan.

I too passed ADSC Lichfield in October and also got allocated Jan 6th para intake..only to be moved to 27th.. My AFCO said it was something like not being able to fill the course :-?

I rang the Para hotline for another reason a few days later, and they said as both 2+3 para were heading out next ...

I too am attending Catterick for CIC (Para) in January, got given date of 6th, then told that it had been moved to the 27th, recruiting Sgt said it mean't I could have a merrier Christmas!
