They were talking about the Arnhem program and the badge was posted by someone except no one asked what it was, by the colours I'm guessing its british but could be wrong.

(I'm playing airsoft with a few friends, who impersonate US Army Rangers, and I want to look like an SAS.)
So if I want to wear a rank badge, should it be on the left or right shoulder? And the flag?
EDIT: Sorry, I just got to know that the SAS don't actually wear ...

Some nasty battles in there with high death statistics.
I'd have to say Normandy landings and Op Market Garden were quite bloody, although not on a scale of Stalingrad or the Somme.

I was trawling through arrse the other day when I spotted this, I wondered to myself is it some sort of Signals DZ Flash/TRF hence the lightning bolt? or is it something to do with 16 AAB? Pathfinder Sigs?

That was a try, england were playing against 19 men, 15 SA's 1 Referee, 1 Video Ref and 2 linesman.
So proud of what England achieved, lets keep Ashton on for the next 4 years.
