Many of the SAS are trained up to be medics so that any one can help out as they work in very small teams. Helicopter pilots well you will have to check on the Army Air Corp for that. Medics must be pretty important in any unit, and I'm guessing even more so in the special forces...is it easier to get selected for the special forces as a medic as a result?
