Do not have tats on your Face, Lower Arms or hands. Avoid the Neck also. Tats that can be seen above the uniform line are discouraged (Or were).

Get stuck in, you can always retrade at a later date, you will need to do some time before applying, ask your recruiter for the length of time you must do before it is possible to retrade.

Sadly no you cannot, you will have choices though. If I remember correctly, you have 3 choices of postings and you will if it is possible get one of your 3.
