I've read that promotion in the RAF isn't as good as the Army! I accept this maybe false though! The Army website says, "Within five years you could reach the rank of Sergeant and earn up to £32,756. " ! Thats if you join as a regular soldier, not an Officer! How does the RAF compare with ...

I believe, there are schools, specially for military offspring??
Is there one at every base?
Do they cater for all the children?? Ie. right upto 16 or 18?
Do any of you know what they are like personally? Ie. A child(ren) of yours/your friend/s attends/attended one?

Ok, thanks. Do you know what medication would be a problem or bar entry, exactly? As, I think I may have been prescribed a few things for hayfever years ago!
