I have had a look through the paper work I've been given and know that after completing training I will be on private level 1 wage, but am I right in thinking that after doing their jumps Paratroopers get paid an extra £5 a day? Also is it time spent in the army that moves you up the private levels ...

In my PRAC selection the guy that won the run and the steeple chase (by quite a bit as well) must have been about 6' 5".

Same here, was gutted when they said that was the next date available but as you say, at least we've got a date.

Sorry to fill this forum with questions, I've looked on the letters they've sent me but it doesn't say. I know on selection it didn't matter what you turned up in but is PRAC any different? Is it best to turn up in smart clothes just for appearance sake?

I'm not sure, I've heard that too but I think they're constantly recruiting in the sense that most of the rest of the army is otherwise I wouldn't have to wait till April/ July to join (assuming I pass prac) considering I signed up in September or something, but as I say I don't really know. I was told by my recruiting Sgt that the next Para intake was late April but I've just been speaking to someone else on here who has been told there's one on 7th March and another on 11th July, he's been to PRAC and has exact dates so I'm guessing he knows best.
