Cheers, nice that you can see it from my perspective. I have managed a 3 mile run through the forest up and down hills in under 22 minutes. The process of reapplying is a long one anyway so I have plenty of time to get fit and also to re-jig my job choices if i feel i could clear the runtime. Thanks...

Indeed lots of brain work to be done GPW i think. The guy from the AFCO did say that they have pretty much filled their quota. It was a sweeping generalisation but did sound like a lot of regiments were full. I guess all i can do is get down there, fill it out and at get the bits and pieces done. So...

Correct GPW but nothing stops you on the day deciding that maybe you prefer your 2nd choice job should you pass all the requirements for the job. On the chance you don't meet those requirements for para reg it looks less silly having it as your 2nd option. It's my weird way of thinking and would fee...

I don't really feel my physical focus and drive is there like it used to be. It will be a case of going for a different cap badge as i feel i have found something else that i could potentially really enjoy doing. I will have para reg still down as my 2nd choice and maybe partake in the insight cours...

Hey As quite a few of you know last year i tried at selection to pass for para reg and missed out on the runtime by 6 seconds. This happened twice unfortunately. My initial test in the AFCO was the BARB test in march which was completed with a score of 82 ending with the last selection in August '08...

Attention to detail is always important so i'm going to start now As a LCpl in the Corps remember you are the lowest rung on the ladder. So after your next promotion some of the work you did as a LCpl may be passed down and you will be tasked with something else? I don't mean the whole job but i mea...

Started this programme currently on day 3 of week 1. Considering the end of day 1 i only did a maximum of 28 and day 2 i did 30 i feel it's working. Not just based on those figures but the fact day 2 has a higher number of pushups required in the sets too. Also completing the 200 situp programme. I ...

SITREPS are fine with me, extremely important. I just get the feeling that i might not be able to find out any more information than the job role on the army jobs website which for me isn't enough. I haven't had a reply to my email as of yet but there is also a number which i may ring when i get cha...
