He/She/It isn't Parachute Regiment and never has been. IT was Media Ops who choose whatever cap badge they like. IT started off in Royal Irish and spent some time attached to 4 PARA. But hey, Royal Irish or TA doesn't sell stories like the tag line 'Para' does it?!

Actually the vast majority of curry houses (and workers) in UK are Bangladeshi owned therefore speaking Bengali would be more useful.

SupFAC; I think thatthe vehicle your are thinking of is the Shir 1 which we flogged to Iran. Jordan also bought it and for them it was called the Khalid. The Shir 2, ordered by Iran but cancelled due to a minor scrap in the country went on to become Challenger 1.

Don't need to be a bootneck to know what you're on about! It's the lanyard which was attached to the arctic muzzle cover for the elephant gun. No idea where you would get one though.

The only factor I would consider in my opinion is that Marines look after there boys better,when I say this I mean at QM/stores/getting kit/conditions.
