Women in the royal air force are no longer allowed to do "girly" press ups. Does anyone know if this is true for the navy aswel???

Also, does anyone know how long there is between when you sign up to when your PJFT is? Just an estimation from experience would be great.

Heya, I'm just wondering while at sea I've been told many people take laptops and electronical goods with them. Does anyone know what kind of storage facillities there are? instead of having just your hands and your feet on the ground you keep your knees on the ground and lower yourself down on your arms the same way. It's just an easier way of doing them...

Press ups

Hi

When girls join the navy do they have to do proper press ups or are they allowed to keep their knees on the ground?
It only says press ups are required on the website...

I'm applying to join the warfare branch in the Navy and am wondering the real difference between officers and ratings. Do officers just manage a team of ratings, while the ratings do the hands on work? Or to begin with do the officers do the hands on work until they are assigned team "leader ...
