Women in the royal air force are no longer allowed to do "girly" press ups. Does anyone know if this is true for the navy aswel???

Also, does anyone know how long there is between when you sign up to when your PJFT is? Just an estimation from experience would be great.

instead of having just your hands and your feet on the ground you keep your knees on the ground and lower yourself down on your arms the same way. It's just an easier way of doing them...

Is it possible to become an officer later on if you join as a rating? If so what is usually expected for this to become possible?
