jobs after the paras

If you go into the paras then e.g. you leave after 5,10,20 years what jobs are there to do when you come out? The afco i spoke to said there is nothing to do other than either personal protection or bouncer(or something like that)....is that all you can do afterwards? What jobs could you get?

Well i can safely say i have been in a cage before (i have a fight tomorrow;;p) and to the other person i never said it would be easy, just not as much of a challenge as what the AFCO made out. You don't have to kick if your in the cage boxing and BJ is more than good enough.
Because there are more ...

About the MMA fighter thing i presume that is because of my sig you said that, but it is getting ever more popular in the uk and it has become alot more accessible to train for it so you will start to see alot more 'cage fighters' around or MMA fighters w.e. they choose to call them selves (MMA ...

Lol, i wasn't going crazy just the AFCO made out to me that it was some horrible grueling task that was 'incredibly brutal' as he put it, but i suppose that is what you get for speaking to a regular army officer rather than a para xD

Why do you want to put weight on? There isn't much point really is there? The weight you put on you are going to loose in training anyway (if you make it) you need to be stronger and fitter not heavier.

By joining the navy what he meant was you won't be doing such arduous tasks as you would in the paras unless you join the rm's obviously but he means it is alot more chilled out in the navy in general, alot better living conditions. I thinks xD.

What are your 3 miler and 5 miler time. You say you can do a 5 miler easy, if you can do it easy then you are obviously not pushing yourself hard enough! This may be why your not getting under 10mins for the 1.5miler, in fact if your doing a 5miler and finding it easy then either your doing it in ...

Does he just want to join the regular army or one of the elite? Para's or Marines? The SAS is made up of 70% Scottish people so that statistically puts him in a good postition to get into the regiment he requires (statistically that is =]).
