Dipped out on a medal- not long enough in theatre- whatever ?
A new open and transparent medals review has been promised after a year long struggle with an intransigent MoD, inept Ministers and clueless civil servants, who in the main. have never served in the Armed Forces.

Since you won't salute 'Frog' style you should be o.k. Am reminded of the Legionnaire who had ' Merde a vous' prominently displayed when saluting which caused great mirth to his mates but not to an inspecting general. And yes this is a true anecdote.

As for the film the music was awful and I will not comment on Tom Seccomb's expletives when he watched it.

A recent BBC survey revealed that 91% of respondents felt that serving in the British Armed Forces is a job to be proud of.
If that is correct let the population demonstrate 'thanks' by signing up.
