How longs the weight? Is it so long that i could go college?

Basiclly. Left school. Apllied for the marines. I am at the apptitude test stage of the application, mine is on monday. local college runs and outdoor persuits corse and am i wondering will the weight to join be so long that i could start that in september to keep me occupied??

Was a fella in the AFCO the other day from south africa. He had privatley jetted him self up here to apply while his mate sold his farm.

Thanks fellas for all that advice a month or two ago. Recently the desicion was made and after pasing army selection for paras, i have terminated my applicaton and decided to go with original aspirations of RM, applying today. Thanks for all the advice guys :)

Passed selection yesterday at p'brite, procedures from here?

Passes for junior para yesterday and i was just wondering if anybody can tell me what to expect next in the application process? My recruiter knows i have passed, he congradulated me but did not mention what happens from here. Can someone please inform me :)

P-Company has to be done by ALL potential Para's.
AFC Harrogate is the same for everyone, regardless of capbadge. What is different is where you go after your 42 weeks at AFC (H). Para recruits will go to ITC Catterick for 13 weeks afterwards to improve on Infantry training and also do P-Coy ...

you can go AFC to be a para. What i and a few other fellas i know are doing. i am unsure about pre selection, wether lads going afc to be a para have to do it

Cheers for the advice. I have left a little thing on royalnavy.mod.uk/royal marines where i gave them my number requesting a call. I supose i wil have to tell them about my army application :-? . A bit embarrassing. Thanks for all the advice, appreciate it
