Sometimes, though, getting help in the forces isn't all its cracked up to be. My sister was in trade training when hers' came on- she went to the padre for help, but was told she was just homesick and should buck up- that's when the self harming started.

I'm a bit disappointed about the 3 years ...

Hi Gaz,

Thanks for responding.

I'm still on it at the moment and have been for about 3 months now. Its taken a couple of months to settle but I feel fine now and hope to come off them at the earliest sensible opportunity.

Couple of questions

Hi guys. I've got a few more questions I'd like to run past you all since you've been so helpful in the past. For reference, I'm pretty set of Intel Corp solder.

I'd be going for commision for the AGC (ETS) as its officer only, but I think I'd enjoy the ranks of the intel corp too- plus getting a commision ...

Proving yourself a well-rounded individual

I'm a 24 year old female grad thinking about joining the army in about a years' time. My two preferred options are intel corp soldier or AGC(ETS) officer.

Can someone take a look at my extra-curriculars to see if they are okay- or if there are any areas I can improve on?

Sport- running (have ...

Cheers for the reponse everyone. I am (a bit) wiser than when i set out. I'm currently a primary school teacher and thinking there's got to be more to life than investigating where the precious supply of classroom pencils is disappearing to.

Even if there's not the excitement the public assumes ...

selection for the intelligence corp

What's the selection criteria for the intelligence corp? I'd heard that you've got to score in the top 2% of the aptitude tests. How does the physical side of RSC shape up if you want to do Int? Finally, is it true that some of their soldiers have degrees?

If anyone can give some insight i'd be ...
