The next PRC will take place on the weekend of the 13th - 15th of April.

All RMR Scotland detachments shall be running presentation evenings once a month leading upto the course (contact RMR Scotland HQ for details 0141 445 6020)

Chris, keeping it short and sweet! Nothing at all is different. You can transfer to the regulars on a contract of around 2 years I think. You can also sign up full time if your really keen.

Selection will consist of physical tests including the V02 Max Bleep Test (Royal Marines Fitness Test), the Basic Fitness Test (2x 1.5 mile runs), the basic swim test (2 lengths and tread water for 3 mins), a gruelling cross country/ circuit run (to see how much you want it) and an interview with an ...

The locations across Scotland where recruits will be trained are:

RMR Scotland HQ, Glasgow, Govan (This is just off the motorway at the 24hr Asda)

RMR Scotland will be having a Selection weekend in the middle of April.

So, if you like the usual recruit thing:-

Then you’re in!

Guys, I would advise that you apply to join the April intake via Scotland. Then if Belfast has not been setup, you will still be in the system and undertaking the training! And once Belfast is up and running, you can simply transfer over to that Det.
