Well, that's clear. But do you tell them directly "Hey, I wanna do it" and apply for it or is it some special job they ask you to do it?
Some further information would be awesome..

Liaison officers

Well, wikipedia translated it as "Liaison officer". You know these officers communication with other forces and so on. How do you become that in the British Army?

Thanks in advance.

So.. you have to or should get home after this time?
Is there any regulation of staying home before going again? There is something like that in the US NG, that's why I ask.

Thanks a lot.

Need your help - deployment

Hey, haven't been online for a while. But I've got a question about deployments. Is there any limit of being deployed? I mean how often would a cpl/sgt probably be deployed? I wonder because here e.g. you have to go home after 4 months, 8months the latest. I doubt it is the same in the British Army,...

Tell us what the novel is all about and where does the British Army come into it? Shall I do it here? Well.. it is just another kitchy love story (actually not.. the first volume is full of crimes)... But I like it the problematic way since life is complicated, too. "she" gets to know him...

Also just out of interest are you looking to join the military at any point? Well, I hope I can, it depends on if they *want* me. If not, that would be it. Here you can have different careers and I'd like the one including university. It's 13 years, though. But if they say I am not good enough (if ...
