Went down earlier and spoke to a career adviser.He basically said everything you lot have.He couldn't tell me more about the waiting time after ADSC, just said that 6-8 months sounds about right.

Well im going down to the careers office today to have a chat about the options open to me after the inital training, and also to clarify about the joining times.(6-8 months....if so, more time to do some running :D )

cheers for the heads up on the 'military Engineer (heating and plumbing) being RE and not REME. :oops: that could of been embarrassing in the careers office.

Hi all,
Im most likely to join the Royal engineers as a plumber. Just trying to get abit more info :wink:
Now my questions are, i already have NVQs in plumbing (been doing it for 5 yrs now) and would like to know if i have to redo it all again or do they give you a sort of assesment?
