A link to an Eminem video?? wtf? :silly: As for dual citizenship it shouldn't be a problem provided it is possible to investigate your background (which in practice means that nations which have modern law enforcement and record keeping practices should be okay, but difficult for citizens of certai...

Joining with previous military experience in another country
I carry both British and Norwegian citizenship.
If I was to serve in the Norwegian Army for my national service for a few years, will I still be eligible to join the British Army at a later date?
I have a British father and Norwegian mother.
Anyone got a clue about this bad boy?
Cheers lads.

Joining Local TA Unit with previous experience.
Hi,
I have been in the OTC for the last 2 years and completed MLDP1 and MLDP2 (Mod 1, Mod 2).
With this background will I still have to do the 12 month phase 1 training from scratch? Or is this something I should discuss with the potential unit (131 Commando Engineers)
Cheers

I met a guy in 23SAS who was a teacher and said he was struggling to commit seriously, and wasn't that happy. Very tough depending on your profession. Personally I would apply for fulltime providing you have the past military experience, because it just takes a hell of a lot of time. But that doesn'...

Serious Question about Joining and previous military...
Ok, I may get grilled for asking this question, but this is outright serious. I am a multi-national. I hold a British and Norwegian passport. Now, I am soon to be called for my National Service in the Norwegian Military. I can of course deny it as I am half British. However what if I was to take a y...

If i joined the RMR while at Uni, how would i go about trying to join as an officer in the regulars once i get my degree? As far as I know you will have to be discharged from the RMR and then re-apply for POC. This is what I'm doing. Going to uni this september, and applying for RMR as a commando. ...
