Yes there are a few lads in my Troop who are from N Ireland. :roll:
I was concerned about similar things prior to starting RT, but the training team couldn't really care less where you are from, all it does is give them some ammo for banter to start with, once they get to know you they will quickly ...

The sectarians who call themselves soldiers, make me sick to the pit of my stomach. I saw a photo recently of McGuinness in full IRA gear at a funeral, the plank. Like you say, black beret, shades, etc.
