Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I'm not sure what I will go for yet but I just want to gather as much info as I can. I do appreciate that in any role you can be mobilised, Im just looking for a general rule of thumb.

many thanks

HI guys I know this was a fairly old thread but rather than start a new one... From what I have gathered it seems like joining the TA in the Infantry means you are likely to be mobilised at some point? Either by choice or not. Based on that am I assuming that it is less likely (or no real chance) th...

Just put the miles in mate, nothing gets you better at running than running itself.

Really, don't overcomplicate it just pick a few different distances and run them and give it your all when running, then I'm sure you will be fine 8)

Its the hose running thats the worst mate.

Although I do have one to practice with so that helps!

Besides I get the feeling that over the next 4 years you may be doing a fair bit more Phys than me :D

claustraphobia tests

etc

There are lots of different plans on here about run times. Do a quick search and I'm sure you will find one. Make sure you run a variety of distances e.g. 1.5 mile 3 mile 6 mile For example, oh and you should be pretty much thrashing yourself when running, as the PTI will do this so it makes for les...
