Personally i feel outdoor running 'conditions' your body better. But running on a treadmill is great for keeping on top of your own fitness.

Does anyone, like me, find running times improve on a treadmill? Just a thought on why this could be?

Just a thought on the 1.5 miler...

To anyone who isn't hitting their desired times it could be a mental thing?
I got 00:09:03 at selection and i wouldn't have really put myself in the "very fit" category! I play football a few times a week but only at a casual level and id not done any preperation ...

Hi, I was just wandering what the junior entry recruits got on their BARB Tests?

I wouldn't bother too much about the test mate or your score. I've been told its basically a sort of IQ test and a psychological profiling/evaluation all rolled into one. They wana see how quickly you can absorb ...

hey i think so because a couple of lads i know are going to pirbright on the 5th Jan. im going on the 12th. Cant wait its like 24 days or something.
Yeah me niether mate, sick of training myself, just wana get there and get on with it. Have you signed your forms yet at the AFCO?

Is anybody starting at Pirbright on the 19th of January? I've read that a few people on here are starting on the 12th and i was just wondering do they get new intakes every week? :-?
