Age in the Navy

Hiya. I am currently waiting on a start date for the navy but am i little concerned about my age. I am 27 at the moment and when I starting the recruitment process a was 26 now it looks like by the time I join up I will be 28 and im wondering is that to old? I know its older then most new recruits ...

Hiya. Well done on getting your date. Im still waiting for mine. Just wondered how long you had to wait after you had completed all the relevant tests to get your start date??

Thanks for that. Yeah they said there would be a wait. Said there was an eight month waiting list so it will be a little while yet. I've left i a little late in life. Im 26 ( ill be 27 by the time i get in) at the mo and i was a little worried about having left it till now. Wish i had gone in at 18 ...

Just wondered if anyone knows the next intake for MA's. I've gone through the application process just waiting for a start date. It's been three (maybe four) months since I completed the process. the waiting list was eight months, just wondered what peoples experiences were of the wait ...
