No it wont be a problem. However to become a TA sponsored officer takes a lot of commitment and also takes over a year so im not sure how you will manage that when living part of the time so far away from the TA centre.

The short service commission is still for four years. If you want to transfer you have several choices.

There is a cadet at sandhurst who is an ex-marine. He did his minimum time in the Marines, got out, went to uni and is now at Sandhurst.

To be fair I Have seen guys with knee injuries being told to do squats. They initially start them unweighted with a swiss ball against a wall abd build from there.

The AACC does not need to make people into bootnecks either. A Serjeant or Captain with four op tours under his belt does not need to go through the same training as a recruit walking off the street. They will have a wealth of experience which can only add to the brigade.
