I left the Royal Marines after getting halfway through training and am now thinking about joining the RAF was a Weapons systems operator (crewman)

what can you tell me about the job? its availability? if its difficult to get? ups and downs? you know all the usual stuff we like to ...

Speaking of which, have you all seen the new Army Commando being raised to support 3CDOBDE? :o

Yeah its about 4/6 months (could be longer if your 16 turning 17 - my case)

I went to the AFCO in august, took the AST (airman selection tests) in october butim not 17 until june so i have the interview + medical, PGAC and other interview between april and june.

Congratulations on passing, some guys find that writing their name can be difficult. :P

Awrite lads, I just passed the aptitude tests for the RAF Regiment :D

unluckily I have to wait until I am 17 and a half before I can progress to the next stage (which is the interview and a medical then hopefully the PGAC).

So I have 7/8 months to wait! :o

gives me more time to get fit though ...
