I was with the 2/6, which for you guys is the Second Battalion, Sixth Marines. Part of the 2nd Marine Division, 24th Marine Amphibious Unit. They are now called Marine Expeditionary Brigrades (Special Operations Capable). This was from 1981-1985.

The weather here is "ok," for now. Its been raining non stop for about 4 weeks. Now, the sun is out, however its supposed to start raining again tomorrow and through the week. Which really sucks, because I'm going to be in a week long rifle course; I hate training in the rain :-( Oh well...
