lol ok ok, but max of 6! i think people could do a lot more than that, especialy the marines "99.9% need not apply" n all.

Well what i meant was because i have reading glasses does that rule me out all together to go on the sniper course

Hi,

I dont know a lot about the regiment so cut me some slack :P , however im joining up so id like to know quite a lot.

My questions are:
1) id really like to go into 2 squadron, do you a choice or are you allocated to a squadron?

2) if u have glasses for reading can u be trained as a sniper?

When i went to the AFCO and talked to the RAF, they gave me a "workbook" type thing i gues you could call it that...

Anyway, it had those examples in it and a answer sheet so you could mark down your answer and check it at the end to see what you need to work on.

A good one would be to study about the new Ranger division that the regiment will be involved in.

I think this is the one your on about, Joint Special Forces Support Group, dont quote me but i think its initialy forming of 400 soldiers from the para regt, 200 from the marines and the RAF regiment ...
